§ 17-111. Required.

(a)

It shall be unlawful to organize or hold, or to assist in organizing or holding, or to take part or participate in, any parade or procession or other public demonstration on the streets or other public ways of the county, unless a permit has been secured from the sheriff.

(b)

This section shall not apply to funeral processions nor parades of the forces of the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard or Navy, nor the military forces of this state.
