§ 19-979. Revenues collected.

(a)

The revenues from this municipal service benefit unit shall be dedicated to the provision of fire protection services.

(b)

Any volunteer fire department receiving revenues shall execute an agreement with the county agreeing to utilize said revenues pursuant to a budget submitted to and approved by the board of county commissioners. Such expenditures shall be subject to audit to confirm proper expenditure. Nothing in this article shall prevent the volunteer fire department from expending revenues not received pursuant to this article in any manner deemed proper by the volunteer fire department.
