§ 2-110. Approval of activities.

  • Except for actions taken by the board of county commissioners sitting as the county housing authority prior to the appointment of members to the authority, the following actions of the authority shall first be approved by resolution of the board of county commissioners as a prior condition to such actions becoming effective:

    (1)

    Any rules or regulations to be promulgated by the county housing authority setting forth standards or criteria for determining eligible persons or qualifying housing development.

    (2)

    Any resolution authorizing the issuance of revenue bonds as authorized in the Florida Housing Finance Authority Law [F.S. § 159.601 et seq.].

    (3)

    All contracts or agreements of the county housing authority.

    (4)

    Any sale of bonds, whether by public or private sale, authorized in the Florida Housing Finance Authority Law [F.S. § 159.601 et seq.].

    (5)

    Any other action in which the board of county commissioners has, by resolution, required to be first approved by resolution of the board.
