§ 6-60. Penalties.

  • (a)

    Any person violating any provision of this article or any rule, order, or regulation made pursuant to this article, shall be prosecuted in the same manner as misdemeanors are prosecuted, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed 60 days or by both such fine and imprisonment.

    (b)

    The county attorney is hereby authorized to institute a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction to seek injunctive relief to enforce compliance with this article.

    (c)

    For the purpose of this article, a separate offense shall be deemed committed for each day a violation of this article exists, said time commencing on the day the offender is notified of the violation.
