§ 7-2. Cemetery roads.

(a)

Title. The provisions of this section shall be known and cited as the "Cemetery Road Benefits of Santa Rosa County, Florida."

(b)

Purpose and intent. The object of this section is to establish and make a means of ingress and egress between cemeteries existing in the county, other than those that are operated and owned by corporations, individuals or associations for profit.

(c)

Jurisdiction. This section shall apply to all cemeteries in the county, other than those that are operated and owned by corporations, individuals or associations for profit.

(d)

Construction, maintenance. The board of county commissioners is authorized to construct and maintain between the nearest public road and any existing cemeteries in the county a public way of necessity between the cemetery and the nearest public road in the county.

(e)

Expenditure of funds. The expending of such funds as provided in this section is declared to be a county purpose in the interest of the residents and citizens of the county.
