§ 2.02.00. [Administrative agency; directors.]

This ordinance shall be administered by the Santa Rosa County Community Planning, Zoning and Development Division and as otherwise provided herein.

A.

Director. The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint a director (chief planner) who shall act in an administrative capacity. He shall set and execute the rules and regulations for administration for the Department of Community Planning, Zoning and Development, subject to the approval and under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners. He shall be a classified employee of the County and shall have the powers to perform the duties provided for by this ordinance or as may be assigned by amendments hereto. He shall see that all laws and ordinances, and rules and regulations are duly enforced and perform such other duties as may be required by him, not inconsistent with this ordinance.

B.

Navarre Beach Director. Applications for development or construction in the Navarre Beach administrative area shall be administered by the Navarre Beach Director who shall have the same powers and duties of administration and enforcement as described in subparagraph A above.
