§ 4.02.00. Pre-application procedures.

Latest version.
  • Prior to filing for a formal and scheduled review of proposed development plans, proposed subdivision plans or proposed site plans, if required by this Code, the applicant should request the Director of Community Planning, Zoning and Development or the Navarre Beach Director, or the CE as appropriate, or their designees, to set a time for discussion of the proposed plans. If a preliminary plat is proposed for property that lies in whole or part within a Military Airport Zone or Public Airport Zone, as defined in Article 11, a preapplication conference is mandatory. During the discussion, checklists will be provided the applicant so that the applicant will have quick and ready access to requirements imposed on him by this ordinance. In addition, the applicant will be directed to the appropriate county departments or other agencies so that the applicant may obtain information from such department(s) or agency(s) prior to filing for formal review, if necessary.

Note: No comment made by any persons associated with the county during any pre-application conference or discussion shall be considered either as approval or rejection of the proposed development or development plans.
